Devon Carothers is the co-founder of the Inspired Youth Foundation. Alongside her husband, Drew, the couple holds two events each year: a fundraising golf tournament in the summer and a Christmas social benefitting their college scholarship program, which honors the life of a friend's tragic passing of a daughter. IYF has distributed over $15,000 to various after-school programs and granted its first college Scholarship.
The Inspired Youth Foundation is one of our pioneering programs and is vital to the success of the Angel Charitable Corporation. Devon and Drew's involvement also pays homage to Devon's grandmother, Hortense Schwefel, the organization's namesake.
Devon serves as secretary on the board of trustees and executive team. Her value and stability have significantly impacted the ACC's success and development. Devon always gives when she has nothing left, exemplifying her character.

Founder and Executive Director
Mr. Maxwell envisioned a multiprogram charity, referred to as a "charity of charities," which he first documented in a personal journal 20 years ago during a cross-country bicycle trip in the summer of 2002. He earned his bachelor's degree in music from the College of the Holy Cross, where he studied composition and received a scholarship for classical piano performance. Currently, he performs on the weekends at Wine on Water in downtown Henderson. This year, he signed a multiyear sales and publishing agreement with Newman Springs Publishing for his literary works.

We are excited to have Dave Reichert return as our gala emcee. Mr. Reichert is a local business leader and successful real estate agent in the Las Vegas valley.
Mr. Maxwell bet that he can play the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata perfectly paying homage to a childhood story.
He removed a $100 dollar bill from his wallet and places it on the piano. Sixteen supportive audience members placed $100 dollar bills on the piano as well.
Mr. Maxwell then auctioned off the signed $100. Mr. Chuck Brennan won this year's auction paying $5000.00 for the framed signed $100 bill with Mr. Maxwell and Mr. Adler's signatures on it. $6700 raised in 10 minutes
